Charades Day

At the end of the long spring term, after many workshops dealing with somewhat abstract art theories, we decided to organise a session in which the children, through a ‘charade game’, were able to review the main topics learnt.

They divided into two groups: in one group the children became tableau vivant, or carried out proper acting and mimicking, embodying, becoming the artworks. The other group had to guess which piece of art their charades were referring to. While playing and guessing, the children, realised an amazing piece of performative art.
