Impressionism

We held a two-session workshop on impressionism. Our aim was to introduce the children to impressionist techniques in a playful and engaging way so
we decided to introduce a theatrical element into their art production: the children became ‘impressionist characters’ themselves, moving from one stage to the other, and always giving the paintings a new story to tell. In this way they learnt a lot of new art concepts.
